School Supply List
Attached is a SUGGESTED list of supples students will need for 2010-2011. Specific lists will be provided by each individual teacher when school starts.

Immunization Records
If you need to turn in your student's updated immunization records or the approved copy of an exemption form, please do so on the registration day in August. The health office will re-open on August 12, 2010 from 10:00-4:00pm (registration day) to collect any updated paperwork and release schedules.

Pre-Registration for NEW students
Pre-registration for new students will be held on August 3 at 9:00 am – 12:00 noon in the Desert Ridge Middle School library. Student must live in the Desert Ridge boundary area and have the following items in order to register:
1. A current (within the last 2 months), original (no copies or faxes) PNM/gas bill in the parent’s name – OR – if new to the DRMS area, a housing lease /contract for a temporary 30-day enrollment. A PNM/gas bill is required by September 3.
2. Birth Certificate
3. Immunization records
4. Special education documentation (if applies)
All students and a parent must attend registration on August 12 to complete paperwork, pick up schedules, get lockers, books, etc.

Library Fines
Students who have fines from the library that are under $5.00 should check with the bookkeeper on Wednesdays or Thursdays in July. These fines were not mailed out because of the cost of postage.
